At the gym | Jean & Steve
. . . bunny ears, bunny ears, jumped into the hole, popped out the other side beautiful and bold.
Steve no longer needed to use the rhyme in order to tie his shoes, but he often heard his mother's voice reciting the words as he did so. The memory of her kneeling before him, reciting the words as she tied his shoes for him was ingrained in his mind and he softly smiled at the thought.
With both shoes now on, he shoved his bag into one of the empty lockers and headed out of the locker rooms. Taking a few steps in, he took a look around. He always started out with a few miles run on the treadmill, but for once Steve didn't come with a plan in mind. Had a friend joined him, he could have done a bit of sparring in the designated area, but he was alone and the gym was rather empty compared to usual.
After a few moments, he gave up and headed for the treadmills, deciding the choose as he ran.
