Day 24! Christmas Eve! Now Lily is off abroad on sunny holiday and it's already Christmas for her the lucky girl! But she did prepare a lovely little post for us before she left! Enjoy girls! As you have probably guessed by now, I am not the best for when it comes to festive styling but one thing I do love is layering! Seeing as I won’t be in the country for Christmas, today is my pretend Xmas Day with my family so needed comfort as well as looking nice. The bath print was always the one that got away for me, so when they release the plum skater I was over the moon, as purple is my favourite nonblack colour so matching lippy was also necessary! I’ve broken up the pattern and added some extra warmth with a gothic crop that screams Wednesday realness. I’ve gone for my matte pocket leggings over tights for cosy legs and a more forgiving waistband (due to being a size up) for the epic roast dinner! The waistbelt is there as always, along with my Docs and this long distressed, hooded cardigan just finishes off the look, whilst also acting as a blanket reading for the food coma on the sofa! Last Minute Christmas Shopping - Day 23!
If you're anything like me, then you probably still have a few things to pick up before the big day. So of course I had to run out and battle the crowds! I didn't want to wear anything TOO warm, since it can get stuffy inside stores. Paired my trusty Mecha Leggings with the One Big Top, threw on the beanie, crochet Toms, and I was out the door! Good choice too, because I swear some of the shops had their heater turned way up...
