Next up are thrashobilly quartet THE X-RAYS, and fuck me they can sure as hell cause a racket. Their rapid, and chaotic sounds border Dead Kennedy's 'Plastic Surgery Disasters' meets The Exploited. There's definitely a Psychobilly influence to them, as I'm much reminded of The Meteors, and Demented Are Go among others! Pictured below is Austin Coop Cooper, their phenomenal bassist, whom takes his parade out into the audience throughout the duration of the groups set. It's always great to discover band's you have never heard before, and especially when it's live! As they hammer their way through a menu of mayhem induced stomper's, pint glasses fly in the air, along with the bodies they once belonged to. I could imagine this group being popular on the Brighton music scene, a night called 'Stay Sick' would be much suited to their fire and full on throttle! I'm left needing a sit down, also a well deserved double after watching this lot.
