Earthmover design concept for the Hollow Knight x Ultrakill thing.

They’re definitely a Soul construct like the V-essels are, but I’m not sure if they were built with Void or got corrupted by it later on.

I was thinking that the in-universe reason for them existing would be to traverse either the Wastelands or the Abyss.

The brain of the Earthmover would probably be someone that has been put into stasis like the dreamers have in Hollow Knight. (My friend even suggested that they’d be contained in a similar matter that Monomon is.)

The in-universe reason for them being an enemy (besides the fact that they are powered by a Lot of SOUL and V1 is very hungry) would be that they got corrupted (either by the Void, the infection, or by something in the wasteland)

just as a point of information: for some reason, Flot or cliffneck goats (8 feet at the shoulder, muscular) are just as big as Umudara (8-9 feet tall at the shoulder, muscular)
