Today is my sweet puppy’s 4th birthday and we celebrated with an emergency vet visit (he got salt in his eye—like, the ice-melty salt) and almost quitting my job (I got a new boss last May and every day is a struggle between quitting and committing a felony).
#2025 is off to a bang#January is always a cruel ass month#my poor pup#he’s stoned and uncomfortable and miserable#and hates the cone#so I just keep maniacally trying to stop him from rubbing at his eye#and nobody ever talks about the downfall#of the perfectionist who bases her self worth on her job#because when the mighty do fall#they fall hard
