I still lurk and I’m still kind of in the Bill fandom but have since crossed over into the fandom of a lovely Irish man who shall remain nameless because uhhhhh we kind have a little thing going on. I’m actually in Ireland at the moment 😅 all this for a BOY. The Lei of two years ago would slap me.

I have really good skin most of the time because I work like an absolute bastard at it and Botox really smooths and soothes it out but I just want to share for any of my other rosacea and/or sensitive and/or reactive skin and/or holy grail whether you’re on planes a lot or not:

1) the Dr. Jart Cicapair line has been doing WONDERS for my flare ups. I had to go to the dermatologist recently for all the redness that flying and traveling has been causing and she prescribed me scary things like Rosiver and antibiotics which felt really intense, but my rosacea was getting pretty bad. The whole Dr. Jart Cicapair line has been amazing at taming the redness and bumps, I use the tiger grass color corrector drops as an SPF and their intensive moisturizer and the face masks and the serum and it’s all been very, very good.

2) SLUGGING. On flights. Seriously—good old cheap, widely available Aquaphor. I board the plane, and slather it on. It’s done wonders for the dryness flare ups.

Today is my sweet puppy’s 4th birthday and we celebrated with an emergency vet visit (he got salt in his eye—like, the ice-melty salt) and almost quitting my job (I got a new boss last May and every day is a struggle between quitting and committing a felony).
