podcast interviews often waste their time with a celebrity. they'll hear a sentence that sounds ✨Inspirational✨ and then try to follow the thread while completely missing the thing the celebrity wants to say about their work or the industry or their motivations. Working actors are professionals and have a LOT to say about it and their life and work is not neat and pretty and motivational but people only want to hear something they can repost on instagram over a video of a horse running on a beach at sunrise.

honestly i don't feel any competition between VD and BTVS... VD is a decent show and enjoybale but BTVS is LEGEND;after 15 years fans are still devoted as day one,and new fansform different generations keep coming and coming... BTVS will never die,it's history;I doubt VD will be remember at the same level in 15 years,tough,i repeat,it's not a bad show....

BTVS is a cult show, and was voted #2 in the 25 greatest cult shows ever (#1 being Doctor Who). So I agree that ever since it aired, every generation has watched and enjoyed it - and this will continue to happen, especially since now Joss Whedon is getting the recognition he deserves. I think TVD may still be remembered and watched, but I guess it's too early to tell if it'll be a cult show. You don't really know until a few years after the series finale. But yeah, Buffy is LEGEND. 

It's like Giles says "Into every generation a slayer is born."
