Carla really handled dead Becky as perfectly as anyone ever could she meant it when she told both Lisa and Betsy she wasn't a replacement she never gave off any ill feelings like jealousy when she was brought up she never tried to "fix" them but loved the grief filled versions of them and sure she felt a little something about Lisa wearing the wedding ring and was happy when she took it off but she never would've asked Lisa to do that and you could tell it came from a place where she prides herself so much on being able to make this little family happy again after such heartache

so now that this woman is back what the hell is she supposed to do? they were married for 20 years and they didn't break up it would be weird if Lisa didn't have any feelings for her wife especially since her and Carla haven't even been together a year and that's Betsy's other mother that she's been struggling with losing so of course Carla's thinking how the hell can she compete of course she's gonna be jealous and territorial and scared of losing them now that the woman who was there originally is back

TDBM Drabble: Under the Night Sky

Prompt: S5 Telemovie - Hey, let’s get started on those wedding night fics, right? Word Count: 300

The stars were gold in the dark sky arching over their new marital bed.  Perched on the edge, twisting her nightdress in her nervous fingers, Jean watched the gold flecks flicker in the firelight.  Lucien had insisted, "Ladies first for the bathroom," but now it meant she had to wait.

The large bed, special ordered from Melbourne, dominated the cavernous room. Perhaps this move had been a mistake.  Everything was so new--

"Hello there."  Lucien sidled into the room, his hair damp, and his hands shoved deep in his dressing gown pockets.  

Panicking, she thought that even he seemed a stranger. "Hello."  She smiled stiffly.

And in that moment, he saw all her concerns.  He stuck out his hand.  "I'm Lucien Blake. We met at the altar? I was the groom."

She swatted his arm but leaned into his warmth.  He smelled the same, felt the same, it was her Lucien after all.  

He pressed his lips to her brow.  "You are beautiful--"

He was so kind to say that; it was the last thing she expected to hear at her age.  Cupping his cheek, she said, "You are beautiful."

When he protested, she pushed open his gown and ran her hands down his bare chest.  "You are so beautiful."

Then found the fresh nick and gave it a poke.

"Ow," he moaned.  

Ignoring him, she traced the other fresh scar on his belly.  "So beautiful."  

LIghtest touch as he lifted her nightdress... uncertain to be naked before him... firelight mottling their skin with shadows...discovering his body with her fingertips rather than gaze... watching the constellations slowly spin behind Lucien's wonder-filled face, bright like a silver moon.  

"Beautiful," she promised him one more time before a log broke, and in a shower of sparks, the room plunged into darkness.

Do they think of me? Were they happy in May, did they think we would last?I don’t think I want to know the answer to that. 

I lay here and stare at the mural they designed and I brought to life, and I miss them miss them miss them. I want to hear their voice. But the hanged man advised patience, a pause, to let things settle and recover and grow again. 

Do they think of me? Are they happier? Do they feel safer? I want to know. I want them to be happy and safe. I want to be part of their life, even if it’s from far away. Far away from me and from this house we had started to rebuild. 

I wasn’t supposed to ever move again. But I am, and does it even matter? Because this home isn’t home. That piece got taken away.

And whose fault is it anyway?

Seriously, if you are a fan of a youtuber or celebrity or whoever, DO NOT GO TO THEIR HOUSE! They need privacy as much as you do. I know youre a fan and theyd be happy to meet you elsewhere but searching for THEIR home and trying to invite yourself in makes the person feel unsafe! You need to know to respect their private areas. Its downright wrong and you need to stop doing that to people. Thankyou.
