I think it's funny the main reason I don't always provide outfit descriptions in my fics, is because I will get a little too descriptive if I'm not careful.

Maybe just maybe some of us unhappy fucks shouldn't be so eager to look at pictures of young naive gays flaunting their new relationships and even jokingly go "ew keep your happiness off my timeline." I think if you're an adult gay man who only gets hookups from men old enough to be your grandfather maybe just maybe you shouldn't be able to comment on whether or not a gay tiktok couple is really in love. Just saying.

re: that writing post -- pretty sure op isn't saying description is bad. description is not bad! but reducing characters to their physical descriptions (the blonde, the taller, the older) is. It can be used sometimes but generally it's a mark of juvenile writing.

MY OUTLAW WITH A HEART OF GOLD, DEAN. Gosh, I’ve had him for a while and even had a blog for him at one point but deleted it long ago. He is however over on my Multi Overkilled and is such a fun character. He’s an easy-going guy who typically just goes with the flow most days. He does enjoy robbing a train or bank from time to time but has slowed down in his age and tends to just cheat at card games these days. He does however love a good adventure and rides all over the wild west with the most hard-headed horse in existence. And when he’s not doing that he’s working at a cattle ranch, helping the owners in exchange for a place to crash.
