Hey! Can you recommend anything in french that will be easy listening for an english speaker? (tv shows, podcasts, short films ect.) I've finished my duolingo and tree and I've been watching french peppa pig. I can understand a good 90% of it now but there's only so much french pepper pig I can handle before I go insane and need some fresh material!!

Okay so I don’t know why but my mind went directly to the “Avez-vous déjà vu” sketch series, which is a compilation of weird little funny skits. It’s short and I feel like it’s easy to understand - well I hope. I don’t know if you’ll find it funny, but some of them have me on the floor (like “Avez-vous déjà vu un crime pas parfait du tout ?”). The complete compilation is on Youtube (x)
If you’re looking for people speaking slowly and eloquently, animal documentaries are the best. Just look for any “documentaire animalier” (x)
Maybe also try “Il était une fois la vie”, which is a scientific vulgarisation cartoon for children. Each episode takes on a different subject (the digestive system, the origins of the Earth, etc.). The episodes are around 25min long (x)
I’d also like to recommend “Bref”, which is great, but they speak fast - on the other hand it’s also very short (x)
If you want to combine pony knowledge + french, maybe check out some of Equidia’s videos, especially the tutos (tutorials) (x)
