I’m always down for a spy/thief/government agent fic, and this one didn’t disappoint one bit! I actually couldn’t put it down, and read it all in one sitting! I really loved Louis and Harry’s rapport, and, while it wasn’t a major plot point, the dom/sub undertones were a fantastic addition that added depth to their characters. 

I know for some people this fic might be controversial because of the tagged Stockholm Syndrome references, but I was completely delighted how lighthearted and fun this fic is! Louis is an integral part of a thief group, and when government agent Harry gets in the way during a heist, Louis sees no option but to take Harry back to their (very homey) lair and make sure he won’t turn them in. It sounds like it could be a really dark plot, right? It’s not at all. I laughed so many times, and genuinely enjoyed reading it!

DREAM A LITTLE DREAM OF ME

“So,” he finally says, crumpling a wrapper and throwing it into one of the bags. They’re parked on the side of the road overlooking a field about five miles away, the windows down, one of Louis’ mixtapes playing classic Bowie while birds twitter outside, hopping along the low fence.

“Where to next?”

Zayn glances back, grinning as he slides his sunglasses back on. “Let’s get the gang back together, yeah?”

“Excellent,” Louis says, looking out the window. He smiles. “I love reunion tours.”

(or, Inception AU where Louis and his team of extractors steal secrets from the heads of corporations for money until a job goes horribly wrong and they have to bring in someone new: a fresh-faced uni student named Harry Styles).

I adore this fic!!! Honestly, g_uttertrash’s writing is right up my alley, and I hope they keep writing Larry fics forever! Lol

This is a true Inception AU, so if you haven’t seen the movie, you should watch it immediately and then read this. :P

Louis works as a dream architect, stealing secrets from powerful people all over the world. He doesn’t do it alone, though. He’s a part of a team made up of Zayn, Niall, Perrie, and Gemma. Together they pull off dream heists like nobody in the business. Some things change and Harry Styles joins the team. Louis is NOT pleased, darling. He’s used to working distraction free, but that tall, curly haired wonder slowly gets under his skin and distracts him in all the right ways.

The writing throughout this fic is so good. It’s detailed without being overwhelming, colorful and fun while still getting across the seriousness of situations, and it’s full of flirty goodness. I’d call it a big ball of fluff fic with a dash of drama (but moreso from the plot and not the characters if that makes sense).
