Prompt #620
“Holy cow, that is the poofiest dress I have ever seen in my life.”
“And let me guess, you want it.”
“I want it,” the not-so-reformed thief breathed, eyes glued to the model. “So much.”
what is theif of doom?
By stealing the death, failure or catastrophe from something, the Thief of Doom can basically guarantee success
They could allow people to live through awkward situations simply by taking the death away from something
In addition they can take away failure and impending cataclysmic events so that they won’t even happen, though this might require a fair bit of power

Snapshot Characters: Thief of Void, Seer of Light
[Part 1]
How would a Knight of Doom and Thief of heart interact in a standard session?
99% depends on the personalities of those involved
One thief of heart might be somebody who takes the personas of other people to alter themselves, a malicious being who tries to piggyback on the knight of doom’s natural ability to exploit failure and death to bring them more souls
Maybe the knight of doom would be a stoic but ultimately single-minded warrior, always making sure that no death or failure goes without a lesson or without an advantage. So the knight of doom, coming across this malicious thief of heart, would seek to purify them and the aborated souls they possess
Alternately:
This thief of heart might copy the attributes of others to benefit themselves, to become the best possible person they can be. Taking in solitude and creating golems in their likeness to search out virtuous traits in others, so that they can improve themselves and reach enlightenment.
And maybe this knight of doom is an erratic and frayed individual. Maybe this knight of doom enjoys slaying others and causing destruction for no reason other than personal enjoyment. When this thief of heart comes across this knight of doom, maybe the thief will be angered by the knight’s disregard for life. this thief is unable to take attributes from the dead. so the thief may call upon their golem-selves to destroy the knight of doom, to prevent them from spreading any more destruction
SoInteractions between different titles really depend on the personalities of those involved more than the titles themselves
If a Thief of Time when up against a Knight of Rage and a Prince of mind, do they have half a chance in hell?
I like to think that unless you’re a non-god-tiered page, everyone is relatively equal in combat, if they’re equal in terms of personal growth + combat skill, most titles will equal each other out
Thief of Time vs a Knight of Rage and Prince of Mind would be difficult because it’s 2v1 but if the Thief was more in tune with their powers they can turn the tides
Stealing time from the Knight or Prince would allow the Thief to basically remove one or both of them from any time period, or steal their speed to accelerate themselves and do whatever they want really
Knight of Rage might have something planned beforehand, however, that would make the thief unable to properly use their powers [Fury makes them reckless, intimidation makes them incompetent, etc]
Prince of Mind, if able to get a clear grasp of the Thief at all, could just completely destroy the thief’s ability to think or do anything
So it kind of depends on who gets the shot in first, but even if slowed down a Prince might still be able to melt the thief’s mind and the thief might be able to instinctively move themselves to a different timeframe to recover from the prince’s effects
