well symbols can change after time, sometimes for the good sometimes for the bad. Look at the swastika. I think that there’s nothing as blatant as how it became the worst symbol ever, and it was a positive, happy symbol
Oh yes I know! I mean just from Solas’ point of view, since he’s....you know....it must be immensely uncomfortable because he knows the original meaning. The Dalish themselves don’t really know their own culture very well, but that’s just due to humans. They had to piece together their knowledge as best they could, and as such, a lot of it is straight up wrong. So for my Inquisitor, it’s kind of stressful for her because she loves her people, but she’s also willing to learn so it’s like....shocking information that she’s torn on how to feel.
