I’m a big fan of @thimbleislandbrewing in Branford, CT since their early bottling days. I remember visiting my college roommate who lived in CT and dragging her across the state to find a liquor store that had 6-packs of their American Ale (I vividly remember the octopus art on the label) in stock and so enjoyed when I finally got to visit the Brewery & Taproom right before the pandemic! They’re tucked away off the beaten path with a killer nautical theme (which this mermaid truly appreciated), friendly staff and a healthy amount of ‘regulars’ who will gladly recommend their favorite pours! Can’t wait to get back there real soon! I’m a big fan of grapefruit in beer but I’m not someone who eats grapefruits regularly.
