How to wear a winter hat?
1. Match the color with your winter coat. If your winter coat is of same color as your hat, you’ll look as amazing as wearing a designer’s look. If not, a simple method is to wear black. Even if your hat has vibrant colors or huge accessories, a black coat will tune down your look and make your hat stands out. For a consistent look, you may consider adding other small accessories that match the hat’s color. For example: wallet, gloves, scarfs....
2. Match the shape with your face shape. I have an oblong face so i looks good in hats that cover some of my forehead and/or have wide brim. Fascinators hats looks terrible on me--they make my face looks longer even though they are the upmost adorable. So, do not pick a hat type because it is trendy or looks good on a celebrity. Pick a hat type that you looks good in.
3. Keep the rest of your look simple. Hat is an overpowering accessory because it is right at your face. The fancier the hat, the busier the look.
It’s becoming spriiiiiing! Open shoes!
