Feel good with a thin burger topped with melted cheese, onions, pickles, and your favorite sauces. There's no reason not to enjoy this quick and tasty meal.
Ingredients: 4 thin beef patties. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of American cheese. 1/2 cup sliced onions. 1/2 cup sliced pickles. Ketchup and mustard to taste. Salt and pepper to season.
Instructions: Preheat grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat. Season each beef patty with salt and pepper on both sides. Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of cooking, add a slice of American cheese to each patty and cover to melt the cheese. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned. Assemble the burgers by placing a cheese-topped patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with sliced onions and pickles, then drizzle with ketchup and mustard as desired. Close the burgers with the top half of the buns and serve hot.
