Elliot Winston - An Introduction
Elliot Winston is the award-nominated and twice or thrice award-winning author of over 6,580 children's books, once reaching #6 on the NYT Bestsellers list despite his staunch refusal to engage in sales-based fraud.
To the general population, Winston is most widely known for her educational wildlife books, "Interesting Vermin and Where You Locate Them" (2016) and its thrilling sequel, "The Most Rare Beasties On Earth" (2021), which featured the (at-the-time) down-and-going author Oswald the Great. Long-time followers of her work recognize him most often for his bold foray into long-form narrative writing in The Birds and The Trees (2021). Parents and children alike are eagerly awaiting his next work, Untitled, which she announced was in early drafting stages at the 2024 California Children's Author Convention.
A true photo of Winston has never been captured, and it is rumored that Big Paparazzi is offering a large reward for whoever finds or takes the first photo of his likeness. In the late 2010s, Winston's author bios came under scrutiny for spreading misinformation. Neither Winston nor her publisher has ever addressed this claim. From what we can gather, he lives somewhere on the west coast, awaiting her inevitable demise with 41 children, 3 dogs (Elliot Jr., Junior Elliot, and Junior Elliot Jr.), and the memory of his dead wife.

i'm not very proud of this one, i fear. i think i did a good job with the sky/grass/tree, and my cow goes hard as fuck, but the rest is ifffyyyyyy.

canvas and paints are once again Alaina's. thank you for sharing! 🤟 lil person is Littlest Sister in her halloween costume 🌻 the pink triangles are pigs!! not kangaroos!! Middlest Sister was making 9/11 jokes, so YS is one of the towers (hence the planes), and the goat is a pentagon (because if a pig can be a triangle, why can't the goat be shapely also?)
i plan to paint over this next time painting inspiration strikes. so enjoy it while it lasts i guess.
