Ok so I know a lot of you are waiting for a Things Still Left update, and it IS coming.

BUT

I’ve been asked to write a chapter in a textbook on international perspectives of inclusive education. So I’m going to be working on that first.

AND

I’m currently working on a lighthearted, fantasy cross historical romance novel that I would like to publish by the end of the year.

Things Still Left is the first fan fiction of mine that has gained any traction, and I love the characters and the readers SO much. I just have to focus a little bit on my career (so I can have money to afford free time in order to write fanfiction! It’s a vicious cycle).

HA! I bet you all thought I was lying, but here it is! Chapter 11 of Things Still Left IS PUBLISHED!!!

For those of you who don’t know (because I haven’t updated it a super long time whoops), Things Still Left, is an Evfra de Tershaav/Human OC fanfiction set after the events of Mass Effect Andromeda.

Hey guys! Woah I know it’s been AGES, and I’m really sorry. I’ve been utterly swamped with my studies, this Masters degree is more full on than I’d expected.

HOWEVER!!! Please don’t give up on me just yet! I’ve got holidays coming up in two weeks, and I’ve already got half a chapter written. So this fic is NOT over, it’s just....slow goings at the moment.

I just felt the need to let you guys know what’s going on as I am STILL receiving comments on Things Still Left which honestly blows me away. Thank you all so much, I love reading your comments even if it’s just key smashing :)

Okey dokey ‘Things Still Left’ fam! This is gonna be a long post, so bear with me (no bad news, no fear!).

For my new followers, ‘Things Still Left’ is my slow-ish burn Evfra x Human Oc fanfiction. If you’re not interested in seeing posts about it (which is totally chill) I’ll always tag it with the following: #fic adventures and #things still left. Work on Chapter 11 has FINALLY begun. You guys are so patient with me, and I super appreciate it. I know I take literal months to update, and I know that can be frustrating, so I’m grateful that you’re all still hanging about. Waiting for my ass to get a move on.

Working on long term projects when you’ve got a pretty severe mental illness is really hard, BUT it’s also really rewarding when everyone who has read Things Still Left, and then interacted with me, have been so kind and encouraging. You guys honestly help me keep my head above water, sometimes.

I’m still on holiday for another month before I head back yo uni to start my Masters, so I’m hoping to get another two chapters out by then. My internet is down at the moment, but tomorrow you can look forward to me posting my ‘Things Still Left’ playlist! Just so you can get an idea of my general mood for Robin and Evfra!

No, friends, this is not a reblog! That’s right, Chapter 10 of Things Still Left is out!

Yep, you read that correctly. Another chapter is ready to read! Another long one, too.

This is my Christmas/Holiday gift to all of you guys. Even though I’m not feeling too secure about the quality of this chapter, I still hope you really enjoy it.
