"Things Are Not Always As They Appear" February 15, 2019's Memory Feed popped up with a meal prep in the foreground of an image. However, it was the plant in the background which captured my attention. . It was beautiful! Immediately, I was reminded of the metamorphic changes for this one plant of which I had grown found. I must admit that I missed seeing it in its fullness with fanned leaves. . My decision to repot and prune my Pothos appeared not to have been a good one. - at surface level. Examining deeper and realizing that this one plant has given life to countless other plants: It was the parent of my "Plant Prayer Garden" 7 years, ago; parent of our "Family Tree" tributes to each offspring of my Grandparents 6 years, ago during a Family Reunion; and most recently, mine and my daughter's homes were recipients of the lovely pruned seedlings - from the same plant. Did I mention that this plant is over 16 years of age. It was then that my child mentioned that they wanted something to take care of - to nurture and feed. . #APLANT is what I thought to get!😊 Though this parent plant no longer appears youthful or useful, I am reminded of the plethora of contributions she has made and still makes today. I choose to "think on these things". #Thingsarenotalwaysastheyappear.🙏 . Thank you #Pothos💜🥰💯. .#mypassion. .#PEEL!. .💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 https://www.harrietwestgordon.com (at Peelv5) https://www.instagram.com/p/B8mccklB5dC/?igshid=1ux6ulxinbjv9
