In all things, be thankful. Sure, somethings make you want to curse, but the lessons learned are worth it. bit.ly/Read_EyBooks #thingslegendsaremadeof Thank you God, for all the assholes, the hateful, and those who turned their back on me. For without them, I wouldn't know how to be compassionate, faithful and a true family member and friend. Thank you God, for the bullies, the name callers, and those who ridicule. For without them, I wouldn't have learned to watch my tongue, treat others better, or learned to search myself and know, I am better than what they said. Thank you God, for all the drama, heartache, hard times, and annoying "incidents" in life. For without them I wouldn't have had the urge to learn how to get over. How to file legal papers, tune cars, change seals around toilets (don't ask). Thank you God, for the people I've lost. Whether through death or free will to leave. Without their going, I would not understand grief, despair, or hurt. I would not have empathy or be able to feel the emotions others are going through. My heart would be cold and it would be easy to turn my back. Thank you God, for that one job I hoped I would never get in life- working with children. At 17, those were the people I thought of as most annoying. Without that job, I would never know how wonderful the human mind is, creative, spontaneous, loving, and willing to give and learn. Without that, I would never have learned of the mistakes to avoid, or the things to do once I became a parent. The best thing to ever happen to me. Thank you God, for life. With all of the lessons from above, I have fodder for fiction and coping skills for when the next wave comes.~Ey Wade
