Sam and I have been best friends since kindergarten, basically ever since we met on the bus. We have grown up together and been there for each other. There really isn’t a time I can remember that Sam wasn’t there, except for maybe when I was two (but those memories are known as “false memories” or “childhood amnesia.” Check it out; I linked a source and everything!) Inseparable since then, we now have been dating a little over five years. We started dating our senior year of high school, and now I’m happy to say that I watched him work hard and graduate Pitt. I’ve seen him struggle with a lot of shit and I’m happy to help him whenever he needs support. After all this time, I still get really smitten and shy and the butterflies still flutter up into my chest.

I consider him part of my identity. It has always been “Morgan and Sam” or “Sam and Morgan.” There’s been talk of marriage and stuff so... who knows? He’s my missing puzzle piece; with him, I’m complete.

I love him. Plain and simple. He’s my everything. I hope he knows that.
