Two nights in a row I went to bed at 3:30 AM. This morning, I woke up at 7:30. I am so sleep deprived I can feel the insides of my eyeballs. And I drank a little bit and got slightly drunk on both nights. On Friday night, I got to hold a puppy! I made friends with this really cool freshman named Anna, and we compared scars. She has a bunch of scars from cancer treatments and she doesn't think my self harm scars are gross because she has them too and we danced and drank and drank so much water and it was awesome.

read read read read read
try super hard to get over the girl
read about queer indigenous communities

I've been here in Australia for about 9 years. Now that seems like a fair amount of time for me to have done some proper Aussie things.
But, I dont think I have a list as impressive I'd like to think I should have by now.
Here's some of the big ones that Ive crossed out so far:
Watch the Australian Open Final
Drive the Great Ocean Road
Climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge
see the view from the Sydney Tower
Melbourne bar-hopping
2 x NRL games
3 x Sydney Cricket Test matches
eat crocodile meat (tastes like chicken but chewier)
eat kangaroo meat (tastes like beef but tougher)
some new ones on my radar that I can think of:
watch an AFL game
kayak on a pretty beach somewhere
swim the Great barrier reef
visit Uluru and the Outback
What do you think I can do in the next 12 months? Prob 1-2 new things each month to come up with an impressive list.
