The Trees Part 2
It’s me, Alice. I’m the one with green eyes. Today started out as any other ordinary day. Now, the reason I am in the trees is not important. What’s important is what I encountered while I was there. I was walking through the trees when I saw her. I approached her to ask her what she was doing here, as this is not an easy spot for people to find. It was secluded with trees, but in the middle there was a little pond. I’ve been coming here since I was just a little girl. I have never seen her before. She was the epitome of perfection.
The Trees Part 1
I met her in the trees. She was golden brown, with long brown hair.
I met her in the trees. She was as white as could be; white as snow. Her eyes were green, but held a mysterious gaze towards me.
Her blue eyes were mesmerizing, they glistened in the sun. She was beautiful.
She was wearing a white sundress with a pink sun hat. I knew then, that’s who I would be surviving new experiences with.
642 Things to Write About
Yesterday, I went to Anthropologie and snagged a nifty book titled "642 Things to Write About". Later that evening, I open the book to my first topic:
"What does love mean to you?"
So, here it goes:
I don't even know how to begin to answer this question- but I'll make a humble attempt. Basically, love, in a nutshell, is being on the same wavelength with another person. Both of you just understand each other in a more ethereal way, something intangible, something warm….something like that. It doesn't make much sense, but neither does selfless love. I can't attempt to describe the meaning of love, it's anything you want it to be.
