Geralt and Jaskier are having an intimate moment together in their hotel room, making some noise, getting undressed, the usual deal. Until a monsterious uninvited guest comes along.
CW: VIOLENCE AND GORE
Jaskier’s back slammed against the cold stone wall as Geralt pressed his entire body into him, hips first. They kissed, hard and desperately, mouths grabbing for each other as Jaskier grabbed at Geralt’s hair. Geralt was holding Jaskier up a few inches off the floor, he moved his hands from Jaskier’s sides to his legs and wrapped them around his waist. Jaskier pulled him in close and kept him in place where he was. Their breaths were hot and only momentary breaks between passionate kisses, Geralt’s heart raced in his chest and he could feel Jaskier’s race as well.
God, Jaskier. The sickening sweet smell of arousal radiated from him, his face was bright and rosey, and his eyes were dilated, leaving only small rings of blue to flicker in the firelight.
Jaskier pulled himself up, fully off the wall and entirely onto Geralt, and pushed. Geralt stumbled at first but found his footing and took the both of them back towards the bed.
With a thump and a bounce they landed. Jaskier sat up to get a good look at his witcher, all laid out and vulnerable. White hair fanned out around him, shining in the moonlight, eyes wide like shining golden rings. Jaskier smiled devilishly and sat back farther, grinding slightly on Geralt's cock. Geralt groaned, low in his chest, and dug his fingers into Jaskier’s thighs. Jaskier laughed in his throat and made a little show of taking his shirt off and throwing it to the floor.
“Off. Now.” Jaskier said, pointing down at Geralt’s shirt and waving his hand away. He allowed Geralt to sit up and helped him with his shirt before throwing it the same direction he had thrown his own.
They were back face to face, lips brushing against each other softly as Geralt watched a wide smile grow on Jaskier’s face. Jaskier slid his hands over Geralt’s rippling chest and around the back of his strong neck, pulling him in for more kisses. He settled back in on Geralt’s lap and rocked his hips back and forth, making Geralt moan loudly into Jaskier’s mouth.
“No more teasing.” Geralt said, grabbing hold of Jaskier’s ass, rolling the both of them over and landing on top of Jaskier. Jaskier yelled a laugh at the sudden change and wrapped his legs over Geralt’s hips.
“Give me that neck.” Geralt growled, pulling Jaskier’s hair and head to the side so he could have full, uninterrupted access to the hot, pink, soft skin. Geralt took mouthfuls of the sweet, supple flesh and felt Jaskier moan his delights under his teeth.
“Geralt!” Jaskier moaned, sounding very whorish and hot, his hands tangling in Geralt’s hair and holding his head to his neck. Geralt did not let up and went harder than a vampire looking for a meal, reveling in Jaskier’s racing pulse on his tongue and the way he squirmed his hips with each chew.
“Geralt.” Jaskier said softer this time. He continued to eat and felt Jaskier tense under his teeth.
“Geralt.” It was not a moan or an impassioned cry, it was a harsh whisper.
“Jaskier…” Geralt moaned into his neck.
“Geralt!” Jaskier quickly patted Geralt’s back and pulled his head off of his neck.
“What?” Geralt asked, frustrated that he was being interrupted, but saw that Jaskier wasn’t looking at him. He was looking, terrified, out to the balcony. Geralt followed his gaze and saw a Ślepiec. A terrible creature. Gray skin stretched over impossibly long bones, its arms and legs were longer than its body. Its face was a gaunt skull, all mouth and empty sockets instead of eyes. It was clung to a pillar on the balcony and twitched its head back and forth, its ears were large holes that eardrums popped out of. Quickly it twitched and moved to the next pillar over, the next one closest to the bed.
Geralt was able to see the situation and steady his breathing and heart, Jaskier however… His heart was racing and he was giving panicked, fast breaths that came out of his mouth frantically. Geralt watched the Ślepiec twitch it’s head and scurry around the pillar as he slowly moved his hand over Jaskier’s mouth. Jaskier gave a muffled yell but when he realized it was just Geralt, clung to him tighter.
The Ślepiec had heard the yell and crawled onto the floor and moved to the opposite side of the bed. Had the thing had eyes he and Geralt would be locked in a deadly stare down. Geralt was in, what Jaskier called, his Witcher mind. He was still, eyes locked onto the beast, ready to strike at any moment but waiting for the monster to move first. He would be as scary as the Ślepiec had Jaskier not been the one under him, and had the Ślepiec not been literal inches away from Jaskier’s head.
For seconds that felt like hours the Ślepiec twitched its head back and forth, listening. Outside, a few rooms down from their own, there was a yell and faster than should be possible the beast was gone.
As soon as the beast was out of sight Jaskier sighed with relief into Geralt’s hand and relaxed the grip he had on him. Geralt, however, didn’t. He kept his grip on Jaskier’s mouth and listened, still stiff, eyes still focused on where he last saw the Ślepiec.
“Meh-humm.” Jaskier said, or, tried to say. Geralt shushed him. He listened for a few more seconds and when he deemed it safe, he bolted from the bed and off of Jaskier.
“What was that?” Jaskeir asked, holding himself up on his elbows.
“Ślepiec.” Geralt said, shirt already back on. He tossed Jaskier’s shirt at him and gathered up his swords.
“What’s that?”
Geralt stopped what he was doing and turned to Jaskier.
“They are blind,” He said, adamant that Jaskier heard him very carefully, “ They hunt by sound, and will tear you limb from limb if they find you. Keep quiet and keep close to me.”
With a sword in his hands and another at his side, Geralt emerged from his room and into the hall. Jaskier was attached to his back, gripping onto Geralt’s shirt like a child and mirroring his every step as they made their way down the hall. They had abandoned their shoes in their room at Geralt’s insistence as socks on the tile floor would be far quieter.
A scream that made Jaskier’s blood run cold tore it’s way through the air from the last room in the hall.
“Not that way.” Jaskier whispered, pulling Geralt's shirt the opposite way down the hall. Geralt stood still until Jaskier had stopped pulling and continued forward down the hall.
“Geralt!” Jaskier hissed, pulling back on his shirt to try and stop him. Geralt firmly shushed him and shot him a look over his shoulder.
“Keep. Quiet.” He whispered. Jaskier swallowed and held tighter to Geralt’s shirt as they continued to the whimpers and yells coming from the last room in the hall.
When they reached the room Geralt was able to push the door open with ease. Inside was a mess, torn curtains, toppled and broken furniture. The bed was torn to shreds, all splintered wood, clumps of stuffing, and shreds of fabric drenched in crimson blood that spilled like oil from a bucket.
“Stay here.” Geralt whispered to Jaskier. Jaskier stammered for words of protest and decided pulling himself closer to Geralt’s shirt would say enough. Geralt turned to Jasker and held onto his wrist till he let go of his shirt.
“You are not leaving me out here, helpless and alone!” Jaskier whispered. His eyes searched Geralt frantically till they landed on his other sword. Faster than Geralt could react Jaskier had his hands on the hilt and had pulled the sword from his side.
“Ja-!” Geralt started before cutting himself off. Inside the room the voice yelled once again and there was tapping of claws on tile. Geralt and Jaskier locked eyes, Jaskier telling Geralt: “Let me have this” and Geralt telling Jaskier: “Don’t hurt yourself”.
As Geralt turned away and to the room, Jaskier adjusted his grip on the blade. Geralt noticed this out of the corner of his eye and turned partly back towards Jaskier. He held up his own sword to show Jaskeir how to correctly hold the blade and made a mental note to show him how to fight later before turning back and entering the room.
Upon closer inspection the room was worse than Geralt had thought. The blood still spilled from the bed, in it’s center were the remains of someone, a man maybe. Only a pool of blood, visceral guts and innards, and half a torso were left of them now. On the other side of the room, surrounded by smears of blood spray and further destruction and limbs, was the woman who had been screaming. She was now a head and torso, her legs ripped off at the hip leaving gaping holes in the exposed meat. Her arms were likewise torn, the flesh was twisted indicating that the Ślepiec had had to wrench them off.
Geralt stepped closer to the woman’s body. Her eyes were glazed over and blood trickled out of her mouth. He bit his cheek and continued looking around the rest of the room, searching for any sign of the Ślepiec or where it may have gone.
Scrapes in the tile and blood trails lead out of the room, onto the balcony, around a pillar… and up… to the floor above it seemed. Or it would seem.
Commotion in the hall called Geralt’s attention and his heart dropped as he recognized the sound of steel on flesh. A horrible, high pitched, hollow scream echoed from the hall and Geralt bolted from the room.
In the center of the hall was Jaskier, with the Ślepiec looming over him. Jaskier dashed under the beast's long legs and swung his sword hard against it’s back, blood sprayed across his face and painted his shirt. The Ślepiec swung around wildly, its long, claw like hands barely missing Jaskier more then once till he swiped his sword at an incoming pass and lopped off three of it’s four fingers. Another scream ripped from the monster’s chest and it wildly grabbed for where it thought Jaskier was. Jaskier was able to dodge each grab of its hand and he watched patiently for the beast to tire or prepare for a different attack. It did, stopping on all fours and twitching its head again, listing for Jaskier. Jaskier never gave it the chance to hear him and raised the sword high above his head. With a mighty, strong, swift blow Jaskier sliced the Ślepiec’s head clean off. It rolled a few paces on the floor and it’s body curled in on itself and twitched for a moment before collapsing.
Jaskier stood, triumphant in front of the large limp body. Face and shirt spattered in blood, chest heaving, brow glistening with sweat. Geralt’s sword seemed to shine brighter in Jaskier’s strong hand.
Geralt was frozen in the doorway, he had never known Jaskier to be the type to fight, only to scream and run for cover, cover being Geralt that is. To see him victorious against a monster three times his size and three times as strong… was remarkable.
“Geralt.” Jaskier said weakly, suddenly feeling that the weight of his own body was too much for him to carry. The sword dropped from his hand and clattered to the ground with a clang. Geralt ran up to him and caught him just as he fell. He held him in his arms and brushed Stray hairs out of his face.
“It came out of nowhere. One minute you were gone and the nest…” Jaskier said, weakly pointing out where the battle had started.
“It’s all right, Jaskier.” Geralt said, hoisting him up onto his feet. “It’s all over, the Ślepiec is gone.”
“Gone?” Jaskier looked around the hall, looking for the Ślepiec, not believing that what had happened had, indeed, just happened. Geralt chuckled to himself, pride welling in his chest.
“Yes Dandelion,” In a single, smooth motion Geralt swept Jaskier up into his arms. “You need rest.”
“Yay, sleep.” Jaskier said, already drifting off in Geralt’s arms.
having a favorite almost-background side character is so funny. hoping the blessing of insanely detailed fanon personality strikes him .like a blorbo chosen by a higher power
"If you have puppies, then can my poros play with them?!~"
Grickets mind raced as the light blue yordle tried to come onto the property with those white fuzzballs, “nop nope nope noooope” he pushed at the back of the strange but persistent fellow. “let me make it clear it is probably a bad idea to bring those little fuzzballs into the pens or near the canines” .w.
