I don’t know if I made a post regarding this now, but i’d like to say that even if you click or scroll away I think you’re a great person.

What anyone thinks of you is their business and you can’t change that.

There is nothing crueler than to hear the truth. The truth is real.

We can’t change their minds because we are not them.

We are our own person and they are their own.

I may have not cared before about what I think of other people or of what they think of me. So i think it’s time to change that.

I want to make a simple statement for those who don’t like to read the long long ones.

“Let’s all talk again to see what’s wrong. We all know what’s outside but internally hurt. All the things that I would think hurts as much as what you would. So let’s open up ourselves uncomfortably honestly true.”

Communication is important. It may bring doubts to end or end those things started through doubts. It could cause discord among friends or family. It could cause hurt, the real things said and done will bring hurt. Not all the time, but they do. It can solve problems or cause new ones. Though this may sound a bit cringey, the strength to communicate sends a message for others too. That strength can help work through situations.

Though don’t misunderstand what I’m believing. Communication means talking and having a line of trust that you can comfortably talk. So if you have secrets it’s fine because it is a private thing. Not everyone needs to know about everything you have in you. Communication is sharing information you feel like other people should know and developing a bond that cannot be shaken. 

Talk when you know that other people need to know it. Talk to someone you truly know you can trust. Talk instead of assuming. Talk even when it is unimportant, even talking to anyone to get what’s weighing you down a while is great. 

And that’s what we need. The strength to look forward. The truth to bring trust forward. As well as the courage to work through the rocky roads.

my favorite is how the term ‘leaving member’ clause kept being thrown around as the viable reason how zayn could have left the band and 1d could have continued as a fourpiece, and fans latch onto it without knowing what a ‘leaving member’ clause actually entails.

A ‘leaving member’ clause allows the label to continue with the band as long as the identity of the group remain intact in case a member leave (which means zayn malik is not a key member of the band since 1d is still 1d)

a ‘leaving member’ clause also means that the member who goes solo WILL HAVE TO RECOUP any royalties lost by the group when this solo member left

the leaving member clause allows the record label to have the right of first refusal to release the solo effort of any member. 

so am i calling bullshit? yes. because maybe they don’t expect fans to look into the technicality of the leaving member clause. see, when you throw that around? people forget that there’s also a standard clause to any contract - the noncompete agreement.
