Summary of that year when the world didn't end (again)
Don't know about you, guys, but my 2012 was memorable in the good sense. Even though I didn't do as many things as the previous year, I feel that almost everything I accomplished during these 366 days was a step towards my growth as a person and a professional. I started this year with the feeling that it'd be fantastic, the beginning of something big. And guess what? It was!
I never thought I'd make it to the fourth year of my career, less creating a thesis with some of the most brilliant classmates I could ask for; or to be assistant of one of my lecturers; or work for more than a year in the same place.
This year I learnt that I have to spread my wings without fear if I want to go far in life.
I learnt as well that love is the best thing that can happen to anyone, and might not be perfect or easy, but if it's real, it's worth all efforts, and no mtter the way or the ammount.
I learnt that forgiveness sometimes isn't easy nor fast.
While I didn't meet as many people as during 2011, during this year I strenghtened the bonds I'd created the previous years.
As for the bad things, the prize goes to the fact that I only had six weeks of summer holidays and spent more than a half of them studying at university.

oh man I read it while ago and it's complete. It's on ffnet, I know that much. If I get my laptop working again I can check my fic rec folder, but I have like 300+ fics in there that I haven't organised by fandom since I'm getting a tumblr page set up for my recs. But it's quite a lengthy multi-chap fic.
I just checked sherlock/john/complete/20k+/rated:all on ffnet but couldn't find the one I was thinking of in the first two pages, lmao. but I'll find it eventually? xD

La pistola y la radio, aunque son útiles, no se acercan ni remotamente a lo que espera de alguien tan inteligente como Q; 007 está seguro que el chico que ahora es su contramaestre ha de tener algo mejor escondido bajo la manga, pero es tan poca la información que tiene de él, que no sabe como proceder para conseguir lo que quiere.
La primera vez que lo intenta, es un ataque directo a su gran e inflado ego.
"¿Esto es todo lo que puedes darme?" pregunta lo más incrédulo posible, sólo para encontrarse con la penetrante mirada de Q por sobre sus lentes. "No, pero es lo que recibirás hasta que aprendas a cuidar los instrumentos" le responde, y sabe que es la única respuesta que recibirá.
En esa misión, rompe todo lo que le han dado, solo para probar lo inútiles que son los inventos de la división Q. Cuando vuelve, la mirada que recibe del contramaestre es fría y desafiante, mientras lo acusa de haber roto el equipo apropósito. Bond a penas puede esconder su sonrisa mientras dice "No tengo idea de que me hablas".

Mallory es difrente a M. Mallory no es M. Y por lo tanto, está la leve posibilidad de que Mallory haga algo que M jamás haría: Escuchar una sugerencia de su parte.
Si Q va a hacerse el difícil, entonces tal vez el jefe pueda hacerle cambiar de opinión. Cuando le plantea que los insumos que recibe de la división Q son muy pobres y arcaicos, Mallory sólo se burla y lo despacha.
El nuevo jefe está del lado de Q.

Se rinde luego de eso.
Pero al salir una muy larga misión, en donde los artefactos de Q terminaron por salvarle la vida, comienza a cuidarlos un poco más (al menos ahora trae de vuelta los pedazos cuando se rompen).
Dos o tres misiones después de eso, Q se quita el bolígrafo que siempre lleva en uno de sus bolsillos y se lo entrega.
"¿Y que demonios es esto?"
El joven sólo se encoge de hombros, dándole una sonrisa cómplice "Tu bolígrafo explosivo"
James está tan complacido que literalmente podría besarle.
Y cuando lo hace, se da cuenta que si no hubiese escuchado a Tanner, habría conseguido ese lápiz mucho antes.

mmmh... I think I'll have to disappoint you a little on this one. My walks in the LOTR fandoms always go to the crack, and I'm not really familiarized with the whole shipping thing. But I can tell you at least a few things!

M/M OTP: Frodo/Sam
Again. I'm really sorry for not being able to give you a quality answer, but I don't have enough data from the fandom for saying anything else.

Irene/Sherlock. Despite of the fact it's hard to find female characters with enough screen time, and that I'm still mad for some things at the ending of ASiB... Well, their game of cat and mouse is flawless and I'll always remember her as the woman who beat him. I don't care about that last scene Moffat, she should have won.
M/M OTP
Does people has to ask this one? Sherlock/Moriarty. How do I begin to explain the amounts of awesomeness on this pairing? They're connected on so many levels, for so many years... Always near, but never really touching. The levels of complexity on the boundaries that join them are at the same time frustrating and delightful to watch. They'll be forever one of my greatest OTP.

Well, what better to combine my M/M pairing with my M/F one? Irene/Sherlock/Moriarty offers a pretty good fun when it's about OT3s. They'll just fit together if they had the chance. Like those missing pieces of a jigsaw when you finally find them.
Favorite Canon
Are there canon pairing? Oh yes! Sherlock/Moriartyhis work. There won't be any other pairing I could accept as canonical... After all, they're married.
Favorite Crack
I'll go for Mycroft/Lestrade. Because reasons.
Guilty Pleasure
Moriarty/Moran. Is because holmes--sweet--holmes made me do it, but it feels so very wrong to cheat on the perfect characterization of Jim, I kinda want to take a whip and hit me in the back until is bleeding.
Pairing I Hate
I'll expect the massive unfollow now. Sherlock/John. And please, don't take me wrong: two immemorial characters like these would always find a way to have chemistry and be shipeable... But I hate what the fandom and the same writers have done to the pairing.
The queerbaiting has come to unbearable levels in the series and the fandom thinks is hilarious and respond to it with applause... I just can't. It's sad, it's lame, it's an excuse to get more fans, it does no good to the characters. And it's also why I'll NEVER be able to get behind Johnlock on this adaptation.
