The problem with UX as the binding element
Ever so often a discipline crowns itself as the integrative, combining, binding element. It was strategy, then design, then leadership, now UX is attempting to move into the top of the pyramid.

I'm a strong believer in the importance of acknowledging the participating stakeholders. In the form of a #thinkband we called it composite strategies, because we realized that each strategy in a composite environment is both independent in its becoming yet dependable on other organs in emerging.
UX Is one of the organs, but being heavily associated with the desire for positiveness. UX Is constantly at the risk of promoting exciting solutions, when in fact, some of the elements are so mundane that too much dwelling may be distracting for the entire ambition.
Sometimes sticking to a predetermined binding or governing principle, may be the quickest way to ME-toopia.
