holy shit. rachel's story is terrifying and sad, but she reminds me of maria (umineko) in a way. both having horrible things happen to them but as long as there is a peace that is only "theirs", they don't acknowledge it as much.

well, that was angels of death.
i'm not good with words so this isn't gonna be a long, long speech or anything, but i'm happy i got to experience this. i've still got more to go, considering the... other game? apparently? (i'll figure out more about that a little later), along with the anime. BUT! but! absolutely stunning game, and the ending wraps up pretty much everything so very well.
each character had me thinking (though i'm sure i missed some of the beginning, so i've gotta go back and see it again) and none of them were really like, flat characters, y'know? each one has their own unique depth and meaning.
to wrap it up though, the main two (rachel and zack) certainly caught my eye the most, and very easily. zack being my favorite character, and rachel being a very close second favorite. i can relate to both of them in multiple ways, and of course, there's a number of reasons i like them so much. they both lived extremely horrifying lives, but despite that, the oath they made to each other kept them going. that hope carried their promise, and that promise was kept. both died happy.
i'm someone who's pretty easy to please, so i don't have any complaints with this one. AoD gets a full 10/10 from me! i absolutely recommend others play it.
when things get scary, i appreciate being alive a lot more
passion can be difficult to keep, but i hope passion continues to burn bright in people's lives
sometimes i get really sad and start to overthink or jump to conclusions a lot. that's when i know my brain is just being silly and i should probably take a nap or get rest in other ways.
