Sometimes I do the strangest things when I’m trying to hurry. This plate ended up with four little skulls instead of just two. Which meant that I carved the skulls, painted them with slip, then put the details in, fired the plate, emptied the kiln, then glazed it, and fired it again, while never noticing the multitude of little heads looking up at me.
