LOSING MY MIND AT WAKE UP & ITS OVER AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so here are my thoughts on the songs!!!! (based mostly or completely on vibes since i cant find the lyrics and i cant hear most of the words 😭)

especially insane about Scum i love the way wilbur sung “im scum im weak [i couldnt catch it]” also the vibe is like going sure im not going to fall in love because i know im horrible at it i know how it will turn out in the end <- me relate <3

Its golden hour somewhere is a lone drive to no where, your music blasting in the car, its the song you scream with your whole set of lungs in the car by yourself

hoodie I've been relistening to smoke and mirrors by imagine dragons and i am so. unwell.

i used to listen to them a lot when i was 10-13~ and kinda drifted away since but that album is so deeply ingrained in me and i didn't realize until now

anyway thanks for mentioning it in the tags of some post a few days ago. I'm listening to it and being mentally ill now

genuinely what is in ycgma what kind of grugs i’ve never loved an album- an entire album of music like this, every single song is a masterpiece of lyrics and instruments bled into a piece of cry that does the opposite it’s unshed tears arms around folded legs barefoot on cold tiled floor in the dark it’s laying in bed at noon with the curtains drawn not wanting to get up it’s watching everything around you fall apart helplessly only to realize they are intact and the one falling apart is you the hurt of picked scabs wound and dried up saline outline crinkling paper and then visceral screams ripped up pages harsh ink cutting through thin materials loud rain against glass headache from crying

tis been good :D!! (since i finished the test yesterday i let myself have an off day >:))

i binged some danmei novel (it was a real funny one 💀)

and binged a whole season(?) <- i think of mob psycho 100 (its so good 😭) (i was gonna pace the anime and the manga at the same time but i ended up getting caught on all the cool arcs)

^ btw a big reason im so hyped watching the anime (aside from cool storyline and pacing and animation and characters’ developments) is the background music they play SPECIFICALLY when Mob is fighting >:) (omg arte its so gooooooooood)

ps: (<- actually idk whats ps is short for) ive just been informed by youtube comments that the star instrument used in the theme is a kazoo :O!!!! like what strong pairs of lungs are being put into the theme damn cuz those were some long ass breaths

the beginning hooked in with that riff cues to the soft beautiful coming on stage of the lyrics as the instruments dimmed their shine for a moment only to further accentuate their presence in the next moment together with the powerful lyrics the higher tone used almost as a carving tool making the chorus stick and seep in more until the next part comes the bridge could kill me in a deserted perfect parking space and I wouldn’t complain just from how visceral feelings were invoked how when the pre-release was available on spotify I was immediately in love with “very tempting parking spaces” just the imagery of it

the style of the lyrics ontop of the music video is perfect, screaming and the way theyre placed emphasizes the particular stress on certain lines almost akin to guilding lines for the audience to follow by

I really like the lighting in this too, the uncomfort from the prolonged eye contact painted a certain persona to the character of the song, a person who would not care for their own safety an obsessive love that feels broken and yet still lingers love like its a stubborn splinter in your skin
