Thoughts at 3 AM

It's always when I'm alone with my thoughts at 3 AM that I find the loneliness I seem to burry during the day. There seems to be an emptiness that I avoid and hide away. I know it's always there but when the sun is out I can find the wonder in the world and overlook the shadows of my mind. It's in these lonely moments that I miss the people, places and things of the past. It's when I think about my choices and fear for the future. I find solace in these lonely moments because I can tell that I still feel, dream, and that I can grow. But sometimes when I'm in them, I wish I didn't have to spend them so alone.
