Luke Cage considered Racist. Think People
I’m going to hit on a topic here that’s heated: race. I just read several articles about Netflix’s new Luke Cage series. All of them were asking why there wasn’t white people in the series. I can’t help but be disappointed in us as a people with this question. For one, it’s set in Harlem which is primarily a Black and Latino area so sticking to not only demographics but also to the comics. Also, there are only a handful of TV shows that even has half as many blacks as they do whites. Combining that with the recent incident against a peaceful BLM protest at a college that I once attended, ETSU, my heart is broken that our country is so divided and full of hate toward one another. Black, White, Pink, Purple, Gay, Straight or whatever doesn’t matter. History speaks for itself as to what happens when we split our country. We all should have the same rights and freedoms and shouldn’t have to fear our government but sadly it’s not the case. I’ll quote Pop “Always Forward”
