What happens when you go into war
A Marxist criticism on The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli

It's obvious, Niccolo Machiavelli The Prince is clearly a work of Marxism. The ideas and concepts of all of his works are influenced by the lack of good governance of the monarchs during his time. His principles are derived from the practicalities that he saw in what should have been done to make a successful monarch. Machiavelli saw that monarchs and those who are next in line, does not have the best proposition and the best ideologies in governance. He witnessed royal blood lines being thrown out of their positions because it's they're either too generous or too harsh. Italy has been invaded too many times, because of their wrong decisions in governance. That's why he made his own ideal-IDEALS, since nobody has the roper initiative to do it.
During the renaissance period, Italy has been under a lot of wars, specifically called the Italian wars. The first years of war, the leaders of Italy have been seeking help for alliance which is expected once a country goes to war. Also, men have been tasked to join the forces to defend their country, and most of these men have died. Now, the masses during their time have been wondering what's happening to the leaders of their country, why are they mostly unsuccessful with their wars and why these men never come back to their homes their wives and their children.
As one particular citizen of his country who is concerned about the welfare of the people, Machiavelli designed his book to share the principles which he thinks might deem useful to the leaders and future leaders of his country. Machiavelli might have looked upon the needs of the people and his own as part of them, they needed leaders of a country that could help them grow and advance forward and Machiavelli has provided them with solutions that he had dropped in his book. These principles are everything that needed to strengthen the leadership they were under; the vulnerability of the leadership, the war tactics and the like.
These things are very evident in how Machiavelli has been influenced by the situation of the citizens of his country. The tragedies that have happened in their country have caused him to help save the situation of him, his people and the country entirely – it has been through his literary works that he has done this. And we can only say now that The Prince tells us a lot about how they were before and how they wanted to change it so badly because they wanted for success and the most efficient way to have governed.
