I read your fanfiction Thirteen Letters a few days ago! Just wanted to say that the prose of the last half is so well written. Your descriptions of the world unraveling were incredible, and I enjoyed the ending alot. The way you characterized Kane and Feels was also very sweet, the mutual codependency between the two of them was wonderful, and i think the flower related hobbies you gave Feels were ones that he would absolutely have in canon.

the characterization is always something I doubt in my writing, because I try to make it canon-y but also more...more? Like canon but fast forward another 10 years and some more traumatic events and you get to my fics. so compliments on that always make me so happy.
I personally press flowers and have since I was a kid, nothing fancy, I just shove them in an old journal and put a copy of les mis on top, and I was sitting there looking at them and was thinking to myself about Brutus' backstory, what was his family like, how was he raised, and I came up with my headcannon and the flowers just slotted into place.
