You too can make somewhat ugly bread in the illegal rice cooker you smuggled into your dorm room!

All you need are 4 items, two of which you can steal from your cafeteria ;)

Ingredients:

- 1ish cup flour (no need for bread flour, just your basic cheapest bag of store brand white flour)

- 1/2 tsp instant yeast (every grocery store will have this)

- 1tsp salt (just take a whole salt shaker from your cafeteria)

- 1tsp sugar (you only need a tiny bit for this recipe so sugar packet from wherever is fine)

Step 1: yeast

Measure your yeast by pouring a bit into your hand until it looks like it might fill a teaspoon, dump in your bowl with half a packet of sugar and just enough warm water to dissolve it. Let this sit about five minutes until it starts foaming.

Step 2: dough

Take a scoop of flour with a mug or just sort of pour in what looks to be about a cup. Start stirring with just the liquid from the first step, it takes less water than you think to get a dough going. Once it gets to one cohesiveish mass of shaggy dough, it’s time to rise.
