i took my first actual vacation in 2 years and my bosses will literally not stop giving me shit about it.
#my workload has tripled and it has nothing to do with me taking time off#and they're just like ''well that's what you get for going on your trip''#when a.) it is normal to take vacations#b.) i asked for certain things to get done while i was gone that no one did#and c.) my bosses take. i kid you not. at least a full week off every. month.#one of them has taken 2 weeks off within the past month.#and you know what d.) they are just blatantly asking me to do more than usual over the past 2 weeks#i've been at my job for 3 years. i know what a normal expectation for my workload is.#and then today during a staff meeting. my guy boss decided he was going to be angry and direct it at me.#so he pounded his fists on his desk and said my work was 'unacceptable'#because he didn't get like. a tiny graphic for one of our concerts until today.#when i've already worked almost 120 hours over the past 2 weeks.#to get more important shit done.#plus he did that to me in front of everyone.#and no one stood up for me. the whole staff was there and no one did anything.#like this cannot be normal.#this cannot be adulthood.#this can't be the rest of my life.#and yeah. stayed late again tonight. 12 hour day. doing work.#and crying.#literally left work at 1am#.......#delete later
