This Cursed Form
Pale hands gripped the filthy weathered clothes she had stripped from a past victim’s corpse, palms, knees and feet dirty, scratched and bloodied from trips and falls as the monster became accustomed to human legs. The shirt was far too large for her, but in that instance that suited her just fine, for the more it covered the better. She was not modest as a monster and that certainly hadn’t changed as a human, but as a monster, she had never been susceptible to the cold. Now fine hairs on her arms stood on end, her skin pebbled at the chill of the air and vapour condensed on her warm breath.
Stormy grey eyes were still glassy from previous tears, the streaks that stained her cheeks had yet ceased to burn. A sniff was swiftly followed by a frustrated rub of her hand to the tip of her nose, the human body was ridiculous.
At the sight of a red coat and distinctive white hair, her already dour mood soured even more so. The last thing she needed now was the Devil Hunter to see her in such a wretched state. Arms folded tightly across her chest she scowled, her gaze flicked too and from him warily.
“Come to gloat, now have you?” Drathenia demanded, upper lip raised into a small snarl. Her voice was rough from strain but still undeniably hers. A short and humourless laugh then left her, tightening her arms around herself even more so. “Perhaps run me through?”

(( first of all thanks so much to Lauren and Arte for their support with this ily so much ))
But verse where Drath gets cursed into a human form and depending on how she is treated during her time as a human, she will either be determined to get her revenge when she returns to her original form, discovers a new found respect and appreciation for humans, or on the very rare chance that she enjoys her time as a human may be reluctant to change back.
The only way she can return to her original for is by either dying or accepting herself as a human, and the best part is she is completely unaware of this >:)))
So like this for a starter with a sad, angry and confused fresh human Drath if ye wish?

How humiliating.
It was bad enough that she was human, even worse now that she had fallen flat on her back with a dismembered corpse on top of her, only after which did she discover Lambert had witnessed the entire ordeal.
Drathenia had been attempting to scavenge some clothes from the bodies that decorated the trees and had found one that was within her reach, of course, it did not come without a struggle. While she had successfully pulled the garment free, she also dragged the entire corpse down as well.
“Come to gloat?” She snapped, shoving the remains off her irritably. Sniffing, she rubbed her nose on the back of her hand and grimaced, bloodshot and glassy eyes cast a glare up at him.
“I’m sure you find this all very amusing.”

Drathenia sat in a crumpled heap, seemingly defeated. She felt deaf and blind... practically helpless in such a weaker form. It revolted her. Drawing in a ragged breath, she clenched her fists and shook herself. There was no point in wallowing in self-pity, for it achieved nothing. Her body was mortal but her mind was the same, she had to cling to what little dignity she had left.
It was then she was gripped by a foreign sensation, it was as if cold water were running down the length of her spine. Muscles tensed and her breath caught, she then recognized it. It was the reaction her prey had when in her presence. A predator was near. She attempted to stand but unsteady legs failed her, she simply collapsed back to the ground with a muttered curse beneath her breath. Bare knee’s scraped on fallen branches and soon brilliant red welled from the wound.
“Damn it all.”
vilefeather replied to your post: Bridal carries human Drathenia.
Continues carrying her away in a tight grip even while being throttled and smacked.

Rusted iron pressed against the witcher’s back, threatening to run him through. Bare feet, dirty and bloody, shifted uneasily but her grip on the hilt of the sword was sure. Drathenia breathed calmly through her nose, exhaling slowly.
This was a terrible risk, but the alternatives were equally threatening. Geralt was well armed, she was not. He had a full set of armor, she had merely rags that she had managed to scrounge from her previous forms victims. He had what she needed, and she doubted he would give up such items willingly. She did not want to kill him, a merciful witcher was a rarity nowadays, but she would do what she had to.
“Drop your swords now,” Drathenia commanded, and with a quick glance down to her aching feet, she made another demand. “And give me your boots.”
