A jatp x nancy drew cw crossover
Julie and the Phantoms decide to do a New England tour and find themselves at a concert hall in a Horseshoe Bay, Maine. On their way in, Julie almost walks right into a group of teens just a few years older than she is, as far as she can tell, because she got too caught up into listening to reggies tale of a cat he saw outside wearing a little bunny hat. (She’s normally really good at listening while keeping aware of her surroundings but it’s been a long few weeks with lots of driving. She’s tired, okay?)
During their sound and “projector” check, the guys sense a foreboding presence and all of a sudden the lights flicker and pop in a shower of sparks as the power goes out and it takes a prolonged second before they guys disappear again. Luckily, it doesn’t seem like anyone noticed, and the building manager comes and reassures her that by the time the concert is to start, they will have things up and running. He suggests she sees the town for the remainder of the afternoon, recommending for food a place called “the bayside claw”.
When she arrives, the place seems deserted but a voice from the back tells to seat herself and they will be out in a minute. Choosing a booth in the corner, the guys fight over who gets the window seats, and more importantly, who gets to sit next to Julie this time. Luke “wins” (Reggie and Alex only fight for the seat to give Luke a hard time). A young guy in a chefs outfit comes out of the kitchen, grabs a menu and heads over welcoming her to the claw. It’s after her food has been delivered that the doors reopen and a group of teens walk in. The redheaded girl loudly proclaiming “I’m telling you. There was something off about it.”
“Drew, you went in looking for something to be off. I’m sure there is a logical, technical, explanation” the short girl with French braids replies with an exasperated tone.
“George, it was completely contradictory to the information we got from Sybil baringer.”
“Hmm. I dunno. I have to agree with Nance on this” they guy with the SnapBack interjects.
It’s at this point they realize they aren’t alone in the restaurant. “Nance” or “drew”’s eyes widen before narrowing when they lock in on Julie. She beelines for the booth as the other guy says “Nancy, no” And George says “you can’t just harass our customers!”
Plopping down, right on top of Reggie who quickly jumps up to sit on the back of the booth legs dangling around Alex’s shoulders, Nancy accuses “what exactly did you do at the Dropped Anchor?” Julie is at a loss for what to say. Is this stranger trying to blame her for the weird light problem at the concert hall?
The guys all begin talking at once and Julie has to try really hard not to make a face at them.
“Oh god, we’ve been busted”
“You we’re looking for the kitchen”
“Is that girl’s name George? Cool.”
Luckily at that moment a short Asian woman crashes through the door with a brunette trailing her in, “I thought I told you guys to stop meddling with ghosts!”
The brunette cheerfully calls out “I’ve brought Victoria!”
Julie and the boys are all turned towards the ruckus and so they are stunned when they see Victorias gaze turns towards them and slowly travels from one face to another. consternation settles on her face before she locks eyes with Julie. “How on earth did you manage to perform a guardian binding on three separate spirits??”
