Hans tells Henry he just wants someone to love him for who he is in the first game, and then Godwin says to Hans in the second, "I see you've finally found someone who loves you" and Hans, drunk out of his fucking mind, replies, "Who told you that?" and we're supposed to just live with this?
This game has had a CHOKEHOLD on me the past few weeks... such a beautiful game with such heart! My goodness!
The Tsushima devs are evil “this will be your horse for the rest of the game” YEAH FUCKING RIGHT
Was rewatching some scenes from the game trying to analyze the character's behavior and stuff for fic research and like... it is... really interesting to me that Amanda looks shocked, then sad, hugging her arms, before and I can't seem to slow it down enough to get a screenshot but it's like she kind of snaps into an "oh" moment and starts feeling mad. I mean, that whole scene with Wooly was clearly very scary and HURTFUL to her. But... this is something she's wanted for a long time, worked hard for, and to hear just how violently opposed he was, she probably knew to some extent that he didn't like what she was doing but it still probably hurt her to see someone she once saw as a FRIEND, probably did genuinely see as her BEST FRIEND at one point be this ANGRY about something that matters so MUCH to her. But something about this scene made me realize how much Amanda's anger seems to be like... a way to regain control. Whenever Wooly raises his voice at her she always raises it louder. She has to feel like the stronger one, the "boss around here" to use her words towards Wooly. Probably because during every stage of her life she was never IN control. IDK I don't know HOW I never put that together before when I knew children who literally acted like this IRL. I really dropped the ball there. But also it's really sad how she like... hugs herself for comfort after the whole ordeal... he really did scare her. (Wooly when I get you Wooly-)
Also when he asks her if she ever thought about what HE wants notice how Amanda looks almost a bit... guilty? Like a child being scolded, especially how they react when it's for something they shouldn't be being scolded for and they KNOW it.
He's GUILTING her. I mean that's nothing new he's definitely tried to make her feel bad before but it just... ugh... their dynamic shows so toxically in this tape omfg get away from her. Go fix yourself Wooly. Get some HELP. You clearly got your own issues going on Wooly we can all see that but you HAVE to leave the seven year old girl who just wants to go home OUT OF IT. She's not your therapist or your bestie she's just a little girl who misses her Dad and her friends LET HER GO.
Who else up thinking about how Kim didn’t see de Paule coming until you warned him. Who else up thinking about how he was so worried about you he completely forgot all pf the training he definitely had about staying alert in a dangerous situation, forgot all of the instincts that would have helped him to do just that even if the decision wasn’t conscious, all because he was so worried about you and didn’t want you to die
Just me? Okay😔
x
I'll be your spark of sunshine!
& I won't feel so left behind.
