when I started shipping it if I did: honestly twitter shenans. they acted like a married couple so i was like “wtf it’d be cute if they smooched.....”
my thoughts: QUICK IS A SHY GAY SO IF ANYONE WOULD MAKE THE FIRST MOVE IT’D BE GAL. SORRY SPACE CADET.
What makes me happy about them: they look out for each other + are super mega grumpy so they can be salty together
What makes me sad about them: quick is an emotional wreck who will probably capsize the relationship a brief amount of time in and freak out because who would actually want to stay with him gal is just putting up with him etc etc etc
things done in fanfic that annoys me: I FEEL LIKE ALL THERE’S BEEN IS ANGST AND SEXUAL TENSION AND IM SAD AND GAY

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: honestly i think quick/splash could be cute but also.....quicks got that wreck-all-relationships type of schtick....and i still think that gal/skull or gal/light is really cute too tbqh
My happily ever after for them: the mob gets put in jail and they finally get some days off and work through things and maybe go apartment hunting and argue over little things and gal meets quick’s grandma and yeah. really mundane things.
who is the big spoon/little spoon: quick is the little spoon 100% but he pretends he’s not and tries to jetpack gal only to roll over in the middle of the night and nuzzle up into gals chest.
what is their favorite non-sexual activity: i feel like if they had a day off quick would be on the internet doing something and then be like “did you know (random useless fact)” and gal would be like “no fucking way.” and then it’d turn into this huge random wikipedia article search for multiple hours and then they’d be like “why are we on an article about neoclassical nu wave freeform jazz we just were looking up vietnamese politics from 1904″ and yeah.
Skull/Elec
when I started shipping it if I did: honestly i was just like “i bet elec could get skull to sort of submit or at least cooperate with him and not be a total douche.” and then i was like “what if bitter salty old men together....oh no...”
my thoughts: THEYRE BOTH SO STUBBORN AND SET IN THEIR LONELINESS AND OLD MAN WAYS. STOP BEING SO STUBBORN AND GRUMPY AND OLD-MAN-ISH.
What makes me happy about them: they both kinda like. get each other in a weird way. not 100% but they seem to understand that it’ll never really get romantic so i like the “you do you i do me” sort of air about them.
What makes me sad about them: i feel like if you really wanted to you could make it angsty as hell but at the same time i feel like there’s an inherent sort of pain to it....cos u have both of them leading double lives and trying to be secretive so you never really know which side of them you’re talking to and it seems like it’d lead to a lot of “is he lying/cheating on me how do i know what’s really going on” and yeah....

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: i feel like both of them could kinda end up with almost anyone? in a lot of different contexts tbh. like i still think qpp skull/fire is adorable and i think that a crackship of wily/elec is also an interesting dynamic so. don’t look at me.
My happily ever after for them: skull is still an fbi agent...elec is a doctor...they still have separate apartments and just kinda...do whatever it is they feel like doing with each other....like no pressure.
