For dashing frost prompts: who do you think would be kinkier? I can see Fandral being super open about what he is into and being used to having kinks. Where as for Loki, I can see him not going out of his way to talk about his sexual experiences casually for Fandral to just know. It would be interesting to see the two reacting to the other’s kinks and if either of them would be surprised by the other.

I definitely think you’re right on Loki not revealing what he’s into. Especially given that while Loki is definitely into really kinky shit, but also has a lot of guilt and self esteem issues, you know that a lot of the stuff he really craves he wouldn’t ask for, especially when it’s on the harder edge of pain and subjugation.
Like, this is partly why the Frostmaster dynamic is especially awful - as much as the Grandmaster will play skipping rope with Loki’s boundaries, Loki almost wants for the Grandmaster to overstep them, and I don’t think he’s really cognizant of the fact that there’s a much healthier way to approach consensual non-consent or painplay. He’d much rather just submit to somebody who will do whatever he wants to do, and try to feel guilty about the pleasure he feels throughout afterwards.
So with Fandral, like, I do think Loki is Kinkier in that there’s a lot more, varied shit he’d be into, and he can probably withstand a lot more than Fandral can. By which I mean like, while Fandral is very much a “I’ll try anything once” kinda guy, I don’t think he’d jump right into sexual situations with beings he didn’t find attractive - I think Fandral would certainly take his time with interspecies relations, particularly when the species looks completely different to those he’s familiar with.
But for all that, Fandral is more up on the actual philosophy of stuff like kink and consent. As much as Fandral often puts his foot in it by flirting with the wrong people, I do think he’s pretty aware of looking after his partner, as well as stuff like checking boundaries, asking if something is good, asking if he can do better, etc. Fandral definitely enjoys making sure his partners feel good, and with that, he’s open to criticism of his technique, as well as establishing boundaries and consent issues.
Loki’s concept of consent is... Iffy, at best. When he’s decided he wants to undergo pain and discomfort, he’ll throw himself into the path of someone who will wreak that pain and discomfort, and that’s just how he does things.
Fandral wouldn’t be so on-board with that, I don’t think, and I can imagine Fandral kinda drawing Loki into a game of never have I ever or something like that, and hiding his surprise + discomfort with shitty things that Loki’s either been forced to undergo, or has straight up subjected himself to.
And for Loki’s part, I think he’d be super surprised that Fandral could ever be interested in elements of complex bondage, sensation play, domination and submission, pain play and sadomasochism as a whole... I feel like Loki has placed all that stuff under something for “bad people”, and he’d be taken aback to see it from a perspective of “two people enjoying something that is painful for one or both of them, as equals”.
