I just realized something curious. According to the Prose Tristan and the Palamedes romance, Sir Palamedes is just a baby when he, his parents and uncle arrive to Britain. On the other hand, if one goes to the Vulgate, Palamedes and his siblings were born in Britain after his dad married his mother (a giantess from the local area).
So, depending on the narrative, Palamedes is either Britain born or raised in Britain (but born maybe in Babylon). As such, this means that Palamedes is as much from Britain as the other knights that were born there.
