You're The One I've Kept Closest |freaksxofxnature|
@freaksxofxnature
Head tilted down, blond locks hidden behind a beanie and hands stuffed in the pockets of his jacket, Klysm Hale made his way through the busy, snow storm ridden, streets of New York. He wasn't even suppose to set foot in this particular State anymore... he'd promised himself he would never do so...
The Englishman tried to be as invisible as the air that whirled around him, picking up snowflakes that scratched the sides of his face and scorched him. His blue hues were pinned to the white covered sidewalk.
He would only get one thing quickly and be gone. It was for the sake of his son, he reminded himself over and over.
His body ached, his hands shivered and he was so absolutely tired. The blond never thought he'd be in this situation and he'd tried so many times to think of ways to resolve his predicament but nothing made sense... He wasn't suppose to even be alive. No one was supposed to know he was...
And his son had to be kept safe.
Wound up in his own little world, Klysm has begun to veer off the normal path, slowly entering oncoming traffic and barely making it to the other side of the street when he was almost knocked to the ground by a passerby. His thoughts subsided and he peered at the person before him, his frigid lips moving to apologize, "I'm sorry I wasn't l-looking wh--" His heart seemed to pause for an agonizingly long time. His tired blue hues seemingly growing in size as the look of fear and surprise crossed them.
It could even be said his eyes watered, but whether or not that was because of the blizzard, was something he'd keep to himself.
Before him stood the man he'd promised to never see again. A loud, high pitched, ringing begun to go off in his ears and his eyes scanned around them. As if someone were able to see them standing there.
The person before him didn't look at all like the man he'd left nearly four years ago... But those eyes... God he'd would always remember those eyes. They were engraved into his mind and soul. Far too many times he'd spent staring up at them. Far too many memories seemed to hold them.
Salem Ryder was the person he was suppose to erase from his life, and yet... he was as prominent in his mind as the very being that stood before him. Taking a step back, he shook his head and tugged his hat down further onto the recently dyed blond locks; a look he'd adopted for in case moments like these. Surely he too didn't look like he had four years ago...
"I'm s-sorry." He mumbled out, shifting his voice a bit to sound less like himself, as he pushed past the male and tried his best to act as if nothing abnormal had happened.
You know what!!!!! I'm dying my hair red.... Right now!!! DECISION MADE!!!
I think I just accidentally became someone's business partner
