trying to do some OC art in preparation for artfight :3
Tusk shouldn't be seen as the only synonym for a left turn record, Dazzle Ships could be another term for that, we discussed this already. The disc, which caused the label to despair over Orchestral Manouevres In The Dark, remains one of their most daring works. I mean, they do a disc about the old technology during the 80's with the contemporary machines – there's a certain disconnect here. Then again, this discomfort makes this an intriguing listen, since the LP feels like a futuristic retro-futurist collection of tunes. They yearn for the past despite the troubling implications of the latter. Then again, they might try to tell us on Dazzle Ships that we may have reached the fulfillment of yore with the mechanics at our disposal.
"Okay, so, I swear I put my paint brushes in my bag."
