YOUR FAVE IS ANTI-NATIVE: ADDAMS FAMILY VALUES
ashamed to say I lost my pet tortoise after leaving him outside in what I thought was a secure fenced in area. did everything I could to find him and I’m still looking. a neighbor called me with a possible sighting, I was so excited and I get over and it’s another lost tortoise.
so I have a new pet now o_O

All right my Comanche, Creek, and Cherokee fam: if you have ANY dirt on Johnny Depp's claims to any of these cultures and want to debunk them, message me, comment here with sources, etc. Please let me know if you want to go on the record (anonymously, if you feel more comfortable that way).
According to Discussing Film, 10 Cloverfield Lane and The Boys director Dan Trachtenberg has signed on to direct Skulls..
I don’t trust white men to direct films about indigenous women.
There’s no reason in the world why this project couldn’t have gone to a native director or writer.
What is this?
“@janellelapointe @Mandabald @WardgianPena @tinselkorey 1. I’m friends with most of the native cast from that project & as far as I know, all are native except for Tinsel Korey & Julia Jones.”
Shauna Baker on Tinsel Korey and Julia Jones.
If this is correct, neither Korey or Jones are Native American despite being cast as Native characters over and over again.
Disappointing, especially since Jones is in The Mandalorian and is being heralded as the “first Native American in Star Wars.”
*heavy tired sigh*
The grandson called bullshit.
Okay she gets points for asking, though I'm side-eyeing the fuck out of the use of colored. The worst is the comments where people are going "hell ya darken your skin and ignore that one Native lady that bothered to say anything."
UGH, apparently cultural appropriation is in this year at Rue21. I mean really, the faux Navajo patterning is bad enough, but a white woman in a war bonnet WITH THE US FLAG PAINTED ON HER FACE?! Fucking gross.
