Klance week:day three-scars
(I am actually basically two days late now oops...oh well here is my fluffy interpretation of 'scars'! Gosh I love klance so this is exciting! I hope everyone is having a good day/night and relax and enjoy this!) There were so many different scars. Some physically, some emotionally. Some made out of love and others made out of pain. Some weren't even made out of those two and were just there. Each of the paladin's had gained many of these from their experiences in space. These scars would stay with them forever and as time would go on they would slowly fade away. But never completely. They were going to return home the next day and Lance and Keith were lying down in each other's arms. They knew about the scars each other had gained and gently Keith stroked one on Lance's arm. They were both tired as ever, yet neither could sleep due to the excitement of the day that was approaching them. Lance was going to see his family again...he was going to be finally at home and this made him happier than anything. Keith loved seeing Lance so excited as he snuggled closer he could sense Lance's giddyness. However this was cut short with Lance noticing something...Keith had the most adorable stretch marks. On his hips they were fainter further away but closer they were visible. "Keith, I never noticed that you had stretch marks..." Whispered Lance lovingly. You know how I mentioned earlier of scars that just sometimes appeared? Well to Keith he thought of his stretch marks as such. He didn't dislike them or particularly like them, they were just there. It wasn't terribly strange as most people did have stretch marks and he had pretty incredibly hips (they have never told a lie). "Well I mean...they are stretch marks not really anything else..." Keith said, however Lance thought they were really adorable...and pretty almost. Why people didn't like stretch marks he had no idea. They were unique. "Well I think that they are cute!" He said laughing and smiling into Keith's collarbone. "Well I think that you are cute but I thankyou I did grow them myself." Muffled Keith as he breathed in Lance's scent. Lance laughed at his boyfriend remark happily. "Lance...everything that has happened...I am sorry if I am not the same as I have been...like some things that happen make me...I don't react well to them and neither do you. It hurts so much to see you react like that and when I do it also just proves how much this experience ands really impacted us for the good and the bad reasons..." Lance was listening to ever word and agreed. Gosh...all that had happened had left them terribly mentally scarred. "Keith...I promise we will get proper help for us back on Earth..I will as well. We both will but don't worry about me. Ok things will get better, it'll just take some time." Whispered Lance. He wanted to reassure Keith. "Thankyou Lance...thankyou so much and I am gonna sleep now I am sorry but bummed out ya'know. Lance nodded and sweetly said for Keith to go to sleep. He softly sung a song his mama had sung him to go to sleep. He was going to see her again soon, so it was on,y appropriate. Lance tried to go to sleep but it was hard. He started to talk to Keith's sleeping form. He said about how adorable and nice his stretch marks were, he the. Moved onto how some scars he wished he could remove from Keith. The emotional ones. He never, ever wanted Keith to feel that pain and he found himself crying gently. Everything they had gone through...it left all of them so many scars more than they could count. When it subsided Lance still couldn't sleep. He started to talk to Keith once more about how perfect he was, scars or not. He was really thinking about scars a lot that night. He finally found himself growing tired. He didn't want to start thinking about his own scars, as that hurt too much...but he thought about the boy in his arms. He loved every inch of him. Scars and all. -Ana
