kenji stayed still while kyouka braided his hair. it was relaxing. “kyouka-chan, you must be really good at this!” of course he could not tell, but he still thought so. when she was done, he ran his fingers over the braid, gasping when he felt the pin. “you even gave me a cute pin!!!” even if he was not able to see it right now, he knew it was very cute. he turned around and gave her a warm hug. “thank you, kyouka-chan, i love it!!!”

             “hey, come on, let me s e e !” he protests, a hint of a laugh in his voice as he tries to peer over the top of her script enough to read upside down. it’s her copy of the tempest in the first place; he’s already lost his own and is really dragging his feet on procuring a new copy, not all that enthused for the production to start with. but she had asked him to read over their lines together, and really, how was he supposed to say no to a face like that? even if it means embarrassing himself with his terrible acting in front of blackwell’s star. “listen, rach, i know you’re getting into it and all, but i really don’t fucking know my lines. we’re not getting anywhere if you keep moving away from me!”
