Hi! I’m Thie, an 18 y/o nb bi pal who’s BPD/OCD and looking to get out a conservative household into an apartment owned by my grandma one hour away. Once I get there, I’ll have a source of income and I’ll also be away from the threat of being kicked out at any time if my parents were to discover I hold different beliefs than they do.
The problem with this plan? the lack of transportation. I have a job already where I am currently living, and I’m in middle of getting another one, but they’re both fast food at just above minimum wage in Idaho, so $7.50 an hour.
I have $1250 toward a car right now, as it’s my main priority. $3500 will go toward buying it, with $250 for fixing any problems. The remaining money will go toward my licence (I currently have an expired permit), gas for moving, rent in the new apartment, and hopefully some left over for community college. That saves approximately $80 currently in my bank for food.
I know that $5000 is a large sum to ask for, and it is indeed padded in case I run into any significantly large bumps in this plan. I’ve also based it off my current standings without planning in any future income, just to be safe. I really do need, at the very least, the money for the car though, so please, please help me out!
