As much as she loved Olympe, that Pontius vacation was a welcome break. Since her retirement, Hera had a lot of free time, and Zeus was too involved with Arcadia to be constantly around. The trip could strengthen Rhea ties, but Hera was more interested in the change of air, not to mention the chance to keep an eye on her runaway child.

Or, at least, to try. It was easier to ask Circe while they were chilling together than to directly get Hermes to talk to her sometimes. “Don’t tell them I asked, but how is Hermes doing here? I love to think that Zeus and I are better parents than mine were, but we have a kid running from us at all costs and sometimes I fear the others will follow the example.”

‘i love you’, it was the message that Oliver kept going back to read over and over again. he was blushing and smiling like a lovestruck teenager and then Michael continued to say it and though Oliver hadn’t told him that he loved him back, it was only because he felt like it needed to be said in person rather than through a screen. Ollie was on his last break for the night and Wilson had followed behind him to bum a smoke from Ollie, it was like a nightly routine. But their routine was cut short when Ollie saw a pair of headlights pulling into the parking lot and noticed a very familiar vehicle pulling in and parking. Ollie quickly got up from the bench he was sitting on and made his way over the vehicle in a quick stride; opening the driver door, Oliver didn’t even give Michael a chance to speak before he was pulling the man in by the collar of his shirt and planting a big smooch to his lips. Pulling back, Oliver looked at the younger man and smiled before he replied, “I love you too.”
