Exciting* Food Update:
I am going to have to try gumbo before decifing whether or not I like okra. That slimy feeling + the weird dry effect when you chomp on a seed are rather unpleasant. Also, soaking in vinegar did not help
*as in, i have no other food wtf now? (Answer: bread)
God I need to spend more time on this blog.
Writing prompt challenge
August 2015, Day 5: Describe the feeling of love
Authors note: I'm not familiar with writing this sort of stuff so this one's probably going to fail.
There are no words to describe the feeling of love. Love just is. Most people only feel love truly once in their lifetimes. Some don't feel it at all. Only the lucky ones feel it more.
You can feel love towards scents and words and sights and sensations. You could stare at something all day without it boring you. You could read the same words over and over and it would still sound just as beautiful. You could be surrounded by it all day and you'd never tire of it.
Sometimes love is when you can't stop thinking about them and doing so makes your heart beat faster. You get butterflies in your stomach when you're near them. You just want to stay close to them every minute of every day even if you're just holding hands.
Sometimes love is the opposite. It's when they're so familiar that you're comfortable being around them. It's when you respect their wants and wishes as well as you're own. It's when you're okay with being away from them, sometimes for long periods of time, as long as it makes them happy.
Love is being happy. Love is wanting to spend time with someone. Love is knowing when to stay away. Love is familiar.
Love is forever.
